今日のショーアンドテルは、反対のもの、ことについて。
大きい/小さい、長い/短い、早い/遅い などなどいろんな言葉が集まったよ！

For today's Friday Show & Tell time we talked about opposites, "BIG" and "small."  

今日は、反対言葉のカードを作って、みんなでゲームをして遊んだよ！
Today we made opposites flash cards and played a game using our cards. Now we know a lot of opposites.  

もうすぐ12月！
今日はクリスマスツリーに
ボール、リボン、そしてライトなどの
飾り付けをしたよ。
とっ〜てもきれいにできたよ。

クリスマスが今から待ちどおしいなぁ〜！



We can't wait for Christmas! we decorated our school's Christmas tree. We decorated it with colorful bulbs and lights. It's beautiful!  

12月23日（祝）にクリスマスパーティーがあるよ。
その時に先生が作ったクリスマスの劇をするよ。
今日、キャストを決めて今週から練習を始めるよ！




We have a Christmas Party on December 23rd. At the party we will perform a christmas play that our teachers made. Today we decided the cast and started practicing.  

今日は、11月生まれの
お誕生日会
をしました。
歌を歌って、生まれてから今までの成長について
お家の人からお話を聞いたりして
お祝いをしました。


そのあとクッキングで、
先日自分たちで掘ってきた芋を使って、
スイートポテトパンケーキを作りました。
と〜てもおいしかったです！








Today we had a birthday party for our November student. We sang songs and listened birthday growing up stories told by our friend's mother. Then we made sweet potato pancakes using the sweet potatoes we dug up at our BBQ party. They were so yummy!  

今日の午後、フラメンコのレッスンがあったよ！
今日は今まで習ったダンスの復習をしたよ。
みんな少しずつ上手になってきてるので
いつかお家の人にも見てもらいたいな〜。

This afternoon we had Flamenco dance practice and reviewed what we studied. Our dancing is getting better,
we hope our parents will see us dance someday!  

毎年、干支のポスターを作っているよ。
来年は午（うま）年。
今日からそれぞれ自分の午を描いたよ！

We always make a big poster to celebrate the new year. Next year, 2014, is the Year of the Horse. Today we began making our poster and drew our own horse pictures.  

今月は、反対の言葉について学習しています！
楽しいの反対は？　
暑いの反対は？　
空っぽの反対は？
などなど反対語を使って
たくさんのことば遊びをしました。

This month, we are studying opposites. What's the opposite of "happy?" What's the opposite of "hot?" What's the opposite of "empty?"
  

今日は、ショーアンドテルがあったよ。
今回のトピックは好きな楽器、または音が出る物。
ギター、カスタネット、ハープ、ドラムなど
の絵や楽器を持ってきて
それについて話したり、
実際に音を鳴らしたりして
紹介したよ。



Today's Friday show and tell topic was, "Your favorite musical instrument or noisemaker".
We brought our favorites, and discussed and played them.
it was fun!  

熊本は、近頃とても寒くなってきたよ。
冬がそこまで来てるんだね！　
今日は先生が雪だるまの本を
読んでくれたよ。

私たちも、雪だるまが作りたくなったな〜！





It's getting cold in Kumamoto and winter will be here soon. Today our teacher read us a story called, " The Biggest Snowman Ever". We can't wait for it to snow, we want to build a snowman.  

ボールをカップに乗せて走るリレーをして遊んだよ。
少しずつコツが分かってきで、
ずいぶん上手にボールを運べるようになったよ。





Today we ran a cup and ball relay. At first it was hard to balance but after we got the hang of it, it was easy to carry them.  

先週の日曜日、
お友だちの家の畑に芋掘りに行きました。

その芋はお友だち、そしてそのご家族の方が
Apple Bee のお友だちのために
育ててくれたものです。

愛情いっぱいで育ったお芋は
それはそれは大きく成長していました。

大きな大きなお芋を掘って子ども達は大喜び！










その後ゲームをして遊んでお腹がすいたころ、
お家の人が準備してくれたBBQができていて、
串、お肉、焼きそば、石焼き芋などなど
たっくさん頂きました。

保護者の皆様の積極的なご協力のお陰で、
とってもステキな時間を
過ごすことができました。








毎年、恒例になったらいいですね！

Last Sunday we picked sweet potatoes and had a BBQ party. We visited one of our friends potatoes fields and dug up ENORMOUS sweet potatoes. After digging our potatoes we played some games, and had a wonderful BBQ. We got to eat our big sweet potatoes baked in hot charcoal along with meat, yakisoba, and sausage. Everyone had a great time. Thank you mommies and daddies for taking the time to enjoy this party with us!  

今日は、ボールをカップに乗せて走るリレーと
ポップコーンをみんなでキャッチする
ゲームをして遊んだよ。
難しかったけどとってもおもしろかったよ！




Today we ran a ball relay and a played a popcorn catching game.
It's difficult to play but very fun!
We will play these games at our potato digging & BBQ party.  

今日は、
ビンゴゲーム
をして、今まで習った語彙の復習をしました。







Today we played a bingo game that helped to reinforce some of our vocabulary. Games are often a great way of helping us to understand and remember English.Games are also fun!  

今月は、『町と田舎』について学習しています。
今日は、畑で見られる『かかし』を
工作の時間に作りました。





This month we are studying about "Town & Country" "What can you see in the country?" "We can see scarecrows." Today we made them at art time.  

今度の日曜日に、芋掘り＆バーベキューパーティーがあるよ。
その時、アメリカの　
『サンクスギビング（感謝祭）』
の劇をするのでその練習をしているよ。



We are having a potato digging & BBQ party this Sunday. At the party we will perfrom a Thanksgiving play based on Thanksgiving Day in America. We practiced a lot today. Happy Thanksgiving Day!
