Summer School (サマースクール）2013
この夏、国内留学を体験してみませんか？
アップルビーインターナショナルスクールでは、夏休みにサマースクールを行います。テーマに沿ったカリキュラムで授業を行います。友だちも誘ってこの夏国内留学を体験してみませんか？
対象： 3歳～小学生
編成： 幼児クラス/小学生クラス
時間：9:30~14:00 (延長レッスン有り14:00~17:00)
期間：
7月29日（月）～8月2日（金）･･･テーマ『Food』（食べ物）
8月 5日（月）～9日（金）･･･テーマ『World Culture』（世界の文化）
8月19日（月）～23日（金）･･･テーマ『Animals 』（どうぶつ）
その他、クッキング・運動・理科の実験などの楽しい体験学習もありますよ！

Show & Tell
今日は金曜日、ショーアンドテルがあったよ。
今回のトピックは『昨日の夕飯に食べたもの』。
みんなたくさん食べ物の絵を描いてきてそれについて話したよ！
Today is Friday and Show and Tell time. Today's topic question was, " What did you eat for dinner last night?" We drew many kinds of food and discussed our pictures. We love eating!

Puppet Show Practice
７月の行事、サマーパーティーでする

とっても立派なステージが出来子ども達は大喜び！
はりきって練習をしています。

This year at our Summer Party we will be putting on a puppet show. Our parents made a beautiful puppet theater for us. We are very happy, and practicing for our puppet show hard every day.We can't wait to show off our new puppet theater and our puppet skills!

Pinata Decorating
今日は、サマーパーティーのゲームでするピニャータの飾り付けをしたよ。
丸くて、赤い、大きなりんごを作ってるよ！
Today we decorated a pinata that we will use at our summer party.
We are making a big, round, red apple.

Left and Right
今日は、『ひだりとみぎ』の練習をしたよ。
（左足、右手、右足、左手などなど）
Today we practiced our 'left' and 'right'. We took turns following different patterns (left foot, right hand, right foot, left hand) and got some yummy rewards...like garlic ice cream!

Show & Tell
毎週金曜日は、ショーアンドテルがあるよ。
今回のトピックは『好きなたべもの』、自分たちが好きな食べ物の絵やおもちゃ、写真などを持ってきてみんなで話し合ったよ！
Every Friday we have show and tell time. Today's topic was "favorite food". We brought toys and pictures of food we like and talked about them.

Hand Made Jump Ropes
今日、保護者の方から布製のなわとびを頂きました。
保護者の方のお友だちが作られた物で、みんなそれぞれ違う模様のかわいいなわとび。
あたっても痛くないく安全です。
みんな大喜び！
ありがとうございました。
Today we were given jump ropes made by a friend of a parent. They are all hand made and have unique patterns. They are made of cloth and don't hurt when we miss and hit ourselves and others with them.
We love our new jump ropes! Thank you very much!

Vegetables and Fruit
今日は、粘土で
いろんなやさいとくだもの
を作ったよ！
バナナ、ぶどう、さくらんぼ、そしてりんご おいしそうでしょう！
Today we made some vegetables and fruit using clay.
"I made a banana, grapes, cherries and an apple. They look yummy!"

Caterpillars
先生が、あおむしを３匹持ってきてくれたよ。
腹ぺこ青虫はたくさんの葉っぱを食べるよ。
はやく大きくな〜れ！
Our teacher brought us a tiny and very hungry caterpillar for us to watch grow. We can't wait for them to make thier cocoons, then emerge as butterflies!

Observations
今日は、ブラッサムクラス（年中、年長クラス）の保育参観がありました。
さすが年中・年長さん 保護者の方がいらしても緊張もせず？みんな活発に活動していたのではないでしょうか。
大きな声で歌ったり発言したりしてましたね。
良かった所をたくさんほめて下さいね！

Today we held parent observations for our Blossom class (older students). The children all sang and spoke with loud voices. Please parents, praise your child's good points. it's very important for them.

Plums
今年もお友だちのおじいさまから、たくさんのプラムを頂きました。
おじいさまのお庭に実ったものだそうです。
旬のものを頂くのはほんとおいしいですよね！
ありがとうございました。
One of our grandfathers gave us some tasty plums to eat this year too. He grew them himself!

Food
今日もいろんな食べ物について学習したよ。
そして自分たちでピザ、ケーキ、ドーナッツ、ポテト、など作るまね、食べるまねをして遊んだよ！
みんなとってもおいしかったよ！
We studied a lot about food today. We pretended to make our own pizza then ate it, cake, donuts and french fries, too! It was all delicious!

Observation
今日は、チューリップクラス（年少々、年少クラス）の保育参観がありました。
保護者の方がいらして緊張する子、泣き出す子、甘える子…などなどいましたが、みんなお家の人がきてとても喜んでいました。
良かった所をたくさんほめて下さいね！
お忙しい中、お越し下さってありがとうございました。
Today we had observations for the Tulip class (younger class) parents. Some children were more nervous around their parents and were quiet or even cried...but everybody was happy.Thank you for coming!

みんなが好きなくだものの絵や本を持ってきてみんなにお話ししたよ。
Today was show & tell day, and today's topic question was, " What's your favorite fruit?" We brought drawings, pictures, and books of our favorite fruits and discussed them. I like apples!

Cherry Tomatoes
今月のテーマは"Food"(たべもの）、いろんな食べ物について学習するよ。
今日は、ミニトマトの苗をみんなで植えて、これから育てるんだよ。

This month's Apple Bee themes are "Food, Colors, and Shapes. Today we planted cherry tomatoes. It will be fun taking care of them, watching them grow, and eating them!

今日、先生が『５本の太ったソーセージ』の歌を教えてくれたよ。
その後、工作に時間にフライパンの中でじりじり焼けている５本のソーセージを作ったよ。
Today our teacher taught us the "5 Fat Sausages" song and we made "5 fat sausages" at art time.

Zoo Picnic
６月２日（日）、熊本動植物園に遠足に行きました。
先月のテーマが『どうぶつ』、いろんなことを学習して実際に動物を見たり、鳴き声を聞いたり、においを嗅いだり、五感を使って観察してきました。
動物ツアーでは先生が作った問題の答えを探したり、動物ゲームをしたり、保護者の方も一緒に動物クイズをしたりして楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Last Sunday, we went to the zoo to finish 'Animal Month'.
We used our five senses to see, hear, smell, touch and - taste? - them.
We took a zoo tour, played zoo games, and had a zoo quiz with our parents.
We had a wonderful time at the zoo.
