Happy Halloween !
今日は、ハロウィーン。
朝から衣装を着てTKUへ行って『かたらんね』の番組に出演しました。
MCの英太郎さん
とってもおもしろく、そしてとっても優しかったです！
またそのあとTKUヒューマンに行って
たくさんのお菓子を頂きました。
お陰で今年もとっても
楽しい思い出ができました。
TKUのみなさま、ありがとうございました。
Today we visited TKU and appeard on Katarane! in our Halloween costumes. Everyone was so nice. Afterwards we got Halloween treats from the great folks at TKU Human. Thank you everyone.

Autumn Songs
今日、先生がアメリカの感謝祭についてお話ししてくれました。
そしてその物語の劇をして、いくつかの新しい秋の歌を歌いました。
Today our teacher told us about the first American Thanksgiving. We acted out the story and sang some new Autumn songs.

Halloween Party !
27日（日）、ハロウィーンパーティーをしました。
ハロウィーンのダンスやうたを歌ったり、
ゲームをしたり、
先生が作ったお化け屋敷にも行きました。
最後に”Trick or treat！”
（「お菓子をくれないとイタズラするぞ！」）
と言って近所のお家を回り
たくさんのお菓子を頂きました。
毎日ハロウィーンだったらいいなあ〜。
Last Sunday we had our annual Halloween party. We sang songs, played some fun games, and even visited a haunted house our teachers prepared for us. Afterwards we went trick or treating in our neighborhood and got lots of candy.

Show & Tell
今日は金曜日。
ショーアンドテルがあったよ。
今回のトピックは『自分のモンスター』、ラーメンモンスター、
赤いモンスター、プリンセスモンスターなど
自分が考えたモンスターの絵を持ってきてみんなで見せ合ったよ。
Today's Friday Show & Tell topic was, "My monster." We drew pictures and discussed our favorite monsters like Ramen monster, Red monster, and Princess monster.

Field Trip To TKU
この時期になると毎年恒例、ハロウィーンの衣装を着てTKUテレビ熊本『若っ人ランド』の収録見学に行ってきました。
「Trick or Treat」（「お菓子をくれないとイタズラするぞ！」）と言ってMCのお兄さん、お姉さんからキャンディーをもらって、みんな大喜びでした。
サプライズでおいしい食べ物も頂きました。その食べ物は？

Painting Pumpkins
今日は、段ボールで作った
ハロウィーンのキャラクター
ジャコランタン、フランケンシュタイン、ゴースト、などに
絵の具で色をぬったよ。
何に使うかは、お楽しみに・・・
Today at art time we painted some cardboard Halloween characters, Jack-o'-lanterns, Frankenstein and Ghosts. What will we do with them???

This month we are learning a lot of new Halloween songs and dances. Today we practiced one we will be doing at our Halloween party!

Birthday Party
今日は
１０月生まれのお誕生日会
をしました。
歌をうたって、生まれてから今までの成長の様子を
お家の人から聞いたりしてみんなでお祝いしました。
その後、バースーデーのお友だちのリクエストで
パンケーキを作りました。
とってもおいしいパンケーキができました。∈^0^∋
Today we held our October Birthday Party. We sang songs and listened to stories told by their parents of our birthday friends growing up. After that we ate yummy pancakes.

読み・書きの練習をしました。
Every morning we have a study time devoted to our older Blossom class students. Today we practiced reading and writing using words from our monthly reading books.

教室に、ハロウィーンの飾りが増えてきたよ。
Today, we made ghosts using paper cups at art time. We have many Halloween decorations in our classroom now.

ハロウィーンまでもうすぐ！
今日は先生が新しいハロウィーンの歌を教えてくれたよ。
魔女、コウモリ、黒ネコ、おばけ、クモなどが出てくる
とっても楽しい曲だよ！
Halloween is coming soon! Today our teachers taught us some new halloween songs. We can be witches, bats, black cats, ghosts, and spiders in these songs. It was so much fun!

どうして好きか話し合ったよ。
Today's Show & Tell topic was "My favorite season." We brought drawings and photos of our favorite seasons and discussed our reasons for liking them.

My Monster
今日は、怖い、毛深い、おもしろい、かわいいなどなど、
いろんなタイプのモンスターについて話し合いました。
そのあと自分が好きなモンスターの絵を描いてみんなで見せ合いました。
Today we talked about different types of monsters. There are scary, hairy, funny, and cute monsters. We drew pictures of the monsters we like and then discussed them.

Flamenco Dance Practice
毎週木曜日は、みんなが大好きなフラメンコのレッスンがあります。
今日は先生のうたに合わせて踊りました。
最後にスペイン語で"Good job!（よくできました。）"
“Bien hecho!"を教えてもらいました。
For today's Flamenco Thursday we danced to a rhythm sung by our teacher. Afterwards she taught us to say, "Good job!" in Spanish.

Sports Day 2013
9月29日(日)、アップルビー運動会を行いました。
ゲーム、技走、親子レース、リレー、ダンスなどなど
たくさんの競技をして
保護者の方を交えて
楽しい時間を過ごしました。
保護者の方手作りのステキなダンスの衣装、
前日、当日と積極的にお手伝いして下さった
保護者の皆さま、
当日応援して下さったご家族の皆様、
本当にありがとうございました。
感謝感謝です。
On Sunday, September 29th we had our sports day.
We had a lot of games, a lot of music, and a lot of fun.
Our parents made wonderful dance costumes
and helped us a lot with the games.
